Privacy Policy

How we handle personal data across the SiteGPT website and product.

Last updated July 5, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how SiteGPT by Omazy ("SiteGPT", "we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit sitegpt.omazy.ai or use the product. By using the service you agree to this policy.

In short: we collect the minimum needed to run the service, we never sell your data, and we never use your content to train third-party foundation models.

Information we collect

  • Account data — name, email, and workspace details you provide at sign-up.
  • Customer content — the website URLs, files, and text you connect so we can train your agent, plus the conversations your visitors have with it.
  • Usage data — logs, device/browser metadata, and analytics events that help us keep the service reliable and secure.
  • Billing data — handled by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers.

How we use information

  • To provide and operate the service — training agents, answering visitors, and capturing leads you configure.
  • To secure the platform, prevent abuse, and debug problems.
  • To communicate with you about your account, and — only if you opt in — product updates.
  • To improve SiteGPT in aggregate. We do not use your customer content to train third-party foundation models.

AI processing

To generate answers, relevant snippets of your content and a visitor's message are sent to large-language-model providers acting as our sub-processors. These providers are contractually bound not to train their models on data we send. You can review the current provider list on request.

Sharing & sub-processors

We share data only with vendors that help us run the service (hosting, LLM inference, analytics, email, payments), each under a data-processing agreement. We disclose information if required by law. We never sell personal data.

Data retention

We keep account and content data for as long as your workspace is active, and delete or anonymize it within 30 days of account closure unless a longer period is legally required. You can delete individual sources or conversations at any time from the dashboard.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (e.g. the EEA/UK under GDPR, or California under CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. Email privacy@sitegpt.omazy.ai and we'll respond within the timeframe the law requires.

International transfers

We may process data in countries other than yours. Where required, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses and equivalent safeguards for cross-border transfers.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256), access is role-based and least-privilege, and content is never used to train foundation models. See our Security overview for detail.

Children

SiteGPT is a business product and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We'll post any changes here and update the date above. Material changes will be announced to workspace owners by email.
