The problem
A charter enquiry is eight or nine questions before anyone can be quoted, and they arrive in whatever order the guest thinks of them. Answering that well takes a person who knows the fleet, and there is one of those. Enquiries that landed overnight or during a charter waited.
What putting it in involved
The fleet went in as a real catalog: sixteen vessels and nineteen priced experiences, from the charter company’s own site rather than broker listings. The agent opens on a branded front-desk screen and introduces itself as the Butler, which is the point at which guests stopped treating it as a contact form. It takes the booking in the conversation, writes the guest into the customer record, and posts to Slack when a booking reaches payment.
